The Bearded One BBQ was born from Pitmaster Chris D'Addario's passion for BBQ.  Starting out as a hobby with only a Weber Grill he has now turned this into a full time operation. His only goal is to bring some of the best competition BBQ in the Tri-State Area to you!

Pulled Pork

Slow-smoked, flavor injected, dry-rubbed, and cooked to perfection. Served on a roll with your choice of sauce.

Pork Spare Ribs

Rubbed with our secret competition-grade rub and cooked just as we do at competitions. Finished off with a gentle glaze before going back on a grill.  

Bacon-Wrapped Ribs

Yes, that's right, *Bacon Wrapped* ribs. Just like our Pork Spare Ribs, only enhanced by a healthy bacon wrap. To top it off, we add a bacon-based sauce.   


Atomic Buffalo Blasts (a.k.a: Jalapeno Poppers). De-seeded Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, and smoked to perfection. 


Chopped Brisket Sandwich

We treat our brisket just as if we were turning it into a panel of judges. We trim your brisket down, then inject and coat with our rubs, and finally smoke them for 10+ hours.

Smoked Wings

Served dry-rubbed, smoked and finished on the grill to get a perfect crisp. We then add another touch of dry rub - your choice of mild or hot - before serving. 


This is not your out-of-the-box Mac-n-cheese. Consisting of 3 cheeses melted down into our own special recipe. If you're also craving some brisket or pork, we'll top it off with a heaping of either.

Brisket Grilled Cheese

This is one of our fan favorites.  We start with two slices of Texas Toast that are covered in butter then put a heaping amount of 2 different types of cheese.  Then it gets a nice coating of our special BBQ sauce and rub then we finally cover with slices of brisket. 

At the Montville fireworks and enjoying some of the best BBQ I’ve had in ages. These guys know how to BBQ ! Bacon wrapped rib was delicious even without sauce. Tender and tasty pulled pork and Brisket done right. Even better with a bit of sauce. The home run was the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers stuffed with cream cheese ... It’s what they serve for dinner in heaven. This place is 5 stars !

What makes smoked ribs better? BACON. My god the first time I tried the bacon wrapped ribs, I nearly shed a tear. I have been following these guys around since then! Oh and the people behind The Bearded One are as awesome as the food they make!

We had The Bearded One cater our wedding. One of the best decisions I’ve made besides my choice of a husband. So many people said we had the best food at any wedding they’d ever attended! From the moment I contacted Chris, he was professional, helpful and willing to work with our budget. It was so cool to have the truck set up at our venue and he even gave us an awesome wooden pig cutting board as a gift. Get this truck for any event if you want timely service, helpful caterers, and absolutely amazing food. He even made good Mac and cheese, and I’m a very tough critic. Can’t rave enough.
